Would you like the Caves to come to you? Our Learning Officer is keen to work with local schools and groups as part of our outreach programme to help educate people about the Caves, their geology and history.
Why not try one of our popular art-based workshops? There are currently two themes to choose from – Graffiti or Animals.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a workshop/talk.
We are currently in the process of putting together loan boxes that schools and groups will be able to borrow. They will explore the following themes: graffiti; light; geology; and painting conservation.
More information to follow…
Children visiting the Caves will be able to borrow a ‘Caver Kit’ to help enrich their experience in the Caves.
Thanks to over 2,100 responses from local schoolchildren our Learning Officer will be able to create kits firmly based on their ideas and feedback. Thanks to our intrepid explorer friends at: Palm Bay Primary; Northdown Primary; Drapers Mill Primary; St Gregory’s Catholic Primary; St Lawrence College Juniors; Worth Primary School; and Hartsdown Technology College. (This, right, is what Edward from Palm Bay Primary would like in his kit!)
Once sample kits have been created, we will then be product testing these in schools. If you would like your school/group to be one of the first to trial our new kits then please email email@example.com
