Exciting times at the Caves as our team begins to grow! Last month Kayleigh McMahon joined us as our Centre Manager. The role will be vital to securing the long-term sustainability of the project and Kayleigh will be responsible for establishing and implementing strategy frameworks, PR and marketing plans, programming, staff recruitment and operating systems prior to opening. After opening she will be managing the day-to-day running of the Caves.
Kayleigh has plenty of experience working in the heritage sector as a leader and manager. She comes to us from the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, and she’s also worked for the National Trust and English Heritage at properties across Kent, including Richborough Roman Fort and Chartwell.
“I’m excited to join the Caves at such a key time and am really look forward to getting open!” she says.
We have more team news coming soon!
