This Half Term, join us at the Caves as we celebrate the Jubilee by chalking up the achievements of the last 70 years. We’re celebrating achievements big and small - from the Queen’s 70 years on the throne to those personal mini wins that get you through the day. Chalk up your personal achievements while finding out more about local accomplishments and history.
There’ll be templates available from the Caves and to download below to create your very own Chalk Up poster to display in your window, or on your fridge - and share your achievement on #chalkupmargate. Submissions will be shared through the Margate Caves accounts too - look out for your very own Chalk Up shout out!
Every day we’ll be chalking up what makes you proud on our chalkboard at the Caves, as well as hosting workshops on Monday 30th, Wednesday 1st and Friday 3rd with award-winning printmaker and owner of The Edwards Press, Dawn Cole.
Plus, in the Caves there will be a Chalk Up trail celebrating the last 70 years in Margate.
So join us in celebrating everyone’s triumphs , bigging up the little wins and chalking up what makes you proud.

Recently I had some free time and decided to try https://avia-rush.games/. I liked how intuitive the layout is — nothing feels cluttered or confusing, and you can start playing almost immediately. The games are engaging enough to keep your attention without requiring long hours, which is perfect if you just want some quick fun. Overall, it’s a solid platform for casual gameplay.
I swear, playing Uno Online is absolutely hilarious, especially when the whole table gangs up on one poor soul and makes them draw a whopping 16 cards.
